New York Is All Wrapped Up For The Season |
Day 1
Arrive in New York and transfer on your own to our hotel. If members of the group arrive at different times, I will meet you at hotel to plan a couple of independent activities. One suggestion, a Christmas promenade down Fifth Avenue to view Christmas windows. At 4 p.m., we’ll enjoy a light dinner, a Victorian High Tea, at the Four Seasons hotel. Early evening performance of the Nutcracker Suite at Lincoln Center. After the performance, we’ll enjoy coffee and dessert.
Day 2
Christmas shopping...I can lead you to the best bargains in New York or you can choose to go sightseeing. One possibility is the hop on, hop off sightseeing bus ... a good overview of the city.
Day 3
We’ll visit Bergdorf Goodman on Fifth Avenue and its stunning cosmetic floor (the best in the city). Make-up session at the Bobbie Brown counter. Next, it’s on to the
one of New York's best spas. Enjoy one of the following: haircut and blow dry, reflexology foot massage, aromatherapy massage with exotic lotions. At 2 p.m., a Broadway matinee. Dinner and viewing of the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Plaza.

Morning visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, including a special stop at the
Neapolitan Christmas tree with its beautiful carved figures.
At noon, we will embark on a luncheon cruise of New York harbor with a brief
stop to view the Statue of Liberty. After, we might want to go on from their to
view what's happening at Ground Zero, now in full construction mode.
Day 5
You are free until your trip home. Many optional activities: The Museum of
Modern Art, a bus tour around the city, and, of course, more Christmas shopping.
